This is my attempt at planting four 5 gallon Italian Cypress down the walkway of my house. Sad thing is three out of the four are already dead! I watered them far too much! Hey I thought this was a desert and they needed to be watered everyday...................aaaahhhhh Wrong!

Salt River Canyon beauty

Just like when you take photos of the Grand Canyon, you really just can't capture the grandeur or the beauty of the setting. Salt River Canyon is an amazing site and is almost as intimidating when you step up to the edge. Amazing the power of water and what it can do over centuries.

Mount Escudilla

This mountain is very special to my friends and I and this picture was taken from the porch of my friend Adam's cabin. Escudilla Mountain is located in the Escudilla Wilderness Area of the Apache National Forest between Springerville and Alpine in eastern Arizona. It's about a 4 hour drive from Phoenix. AMAZING!!!

INFO:
Escudilla Mountain is located in the White Mountains of eastern Arizona near the New Mexico border. It is considered the third highest mountain in Arizona and like the others, is volcanic in origin.  The name Escudilla is Spanish for a small bowl, and the mountain may have been named by early Hispanic settlers in the region, or possibly by a member of Coronado's 1540 expedition through the U.S. Southwest. In 1984 the Escudilla Wilderness Area was created, encompassing 5200 acres of Escudilla Mountain and the surrounding area of the Apache National Forest.

Peppersauce Caves- Oracle, Arizona

Right outside Oracle, Arizona is the famous Peppersauce caves. This picture was taken in the main room of the cave which is actually a gigantic stadium type room. I definitely recommend taking a trip to Oracle and making your way into the fantastic caves! Bring plenty of light and don't wear anything your afraid of getting muddy!

Fossil Springs, AZ

Fossil Springs is a wonderful place to visit and go swimming in beautiful crystal clear water. My friends and I went last year for the day and promised to return every year on the exact same day. It became almost and legendary trip and future destination for many years to come. It's located about 5 miles west of Strawberry Arizona.

Wilcox Arizona - Barbecue Train Restaurant

A stop for a little BBQ in Wilcox,  Arizona. There is this weird barbecue restaurant located inside of a train car. Needless to say, this was really the only place we were going to eat! The food was a slight bit dodgy though!! haha
